History
Wellfleet Partners, Inc. (“WP” or the “Company”) is a boutique financial services and consulting firm principally located in New York City, New York. It was founded in 1998 and since then has been engaged, directly or through its affiliations, in a wide range of investment and merchant banking, venture capital, financial and strategic consulting services.
WPs was initially located at 67 Wall Street in a private office and floor of a former financial services company, pursuant to the terms of Mr. Lev’s employment and Purchase Agreement from the sale of his prior Company, First Asset Management, Inc. Subsequently, WPs moved to its present Midtown New York City location. WPs maintains a majority interest in a subsidiary, Starobin Partners, Inc. (“Starobin”) and formed a strategic partnership with MRM Finance, LLC, a Beijing, China based company, to offer due diligence, advisory and consulting services for public and privately traded companies located in China. Since January 2012, Mark I. Lev, Esq., co-founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of WPs, is a licensed account executive and Managing Director with Bradley Woods & Co., Ltd. (“BW”), a 42 year-old full service independent securities and brokerage firm. Through its affiliation with Bernard Herold & Co., Inc., a New York Stock Exchange member, BW has an indirect clearing agreement with Pershing LLC (an affiliate of the Bank of New York Mellon). BW’s forte is an understanding of government mechanics and dynamics including its legislative and administrative procedures. Since 1970 BW has offered an institutional research product which interprets the actions of the US Federal Government on the capital markets, in addition to offering research and analysis that not only reports and identifies critical market and economic trends, but also the specific investment implications of US government policies and geopolitics.
