A pragmatic and entrepreneurial team leader with years of successful Corporate, Sales and major account management experience. My background is as a strategic adviser to clients, and an entrepreneur; always seeking new commercial opportunties and challenges.
With a diverse portfolio of international assignments, my Company has provided service to clients ranging from pre-IPO preparation and fund rasing, to the development and implementation of National sales and market strategies, and the delivery of sustainable profit generation and enhancement programs.
I concluded a 5 year assignment with the end of April, having been appointed to the Main Board of the Company to handle Corporate Affairs, Strategy and Business development.
During my engagement, we successfully raised new Capital and significantly widened share ownership with two private placements. We expanded the US business by 500%, and the European business by 300%.
Most recently I combined the CEO/General Manager role within Asia Pacific, with the need to open new markets and forge new intermediated channels for the Company.
Prior to joining ERA I enjoyed success in UK, USA, Asia-Pacific, MENA and Europe and I have extensive operational expertise in leading business development functions, as well as start up and turn-arounds.
My background as the Group Commercial Director of HSBC Investment Banking opened many opportunities within complex organisations, but I have preferred to work with the mid-sized and nascent companies where energy and enthusiasm are marshalled with pragmatic commercial skills and integrity.
I have led successful IPO’s for Technology companies, and turnarounds for Technology, Property and B2B service businesses.
